License and community terms

  1. Membership license. Members in good standing receive a license to use and share the code and software built inside this community, non-commercially and commercially, until the member's revenue exceeds $100,000 per year. Above that threshold, a separate commercial arrangement is required — organizations earning more can afford to support the community that builds their tools.
  2. Member-only access. Members agree not to provide community access, code, or materials to non-members.
  3. No business-model cloning. The license does not permit using community code to clone this community's business model, in whole or in part.
  4. Member clubs. Members may create their own clubs within the community and set their own membership prices. Every member of a sub-club must also hold a current membership in this parent community — the parent membership fee (~$100) is included in and remitted from each sub-club membership sold.
  5. Good standing. The license is valid only while membership is active and in good standing; it ends when membership lapses or is revoked.
  6. Application fee. The $49 application processing fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee admission.
